I recently discovered Yum Sing Express on South Road in Bedford Park. If you like Chinese food this place is great and it’s really inexpensive. You can get a pretty nice meal for less than five dollars. They offer dine in facilities, take away as well as a drive through option so it’s just like a fast food outlet but for Chinese food. So far, I’ve tried the Yum Cha which includes a spring roll, steamed dim sim, prawn toast, pork bun, siew mai served with light soy sauce for $6.95. As well as the King Prawn Salad served on a bed of crisp mixed salad greens, cucumber slices, carrot straws and Spanish onion with Yum Sing light, tangy dressing for $10.90. The service can be a bit average sometimes as you would expect from a fast food place but overall they offer great tasting food, at a great price and from a convenient location.
